Turmeric is a wonderful spice. It has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. I take it daily (with black pepper to help absorption) with my breakfast hot cereal. According to a study published in the Journal of the American Diabetes Association, it can also prevent and treat type II diabetes. Wonderful!
