Dr. Michael Greger on How not to die

This is a long, educational, worthwhile video from the physician who follows all the nutritional research so we don't have to.
                                            Google talks, video

Loved this song and this musical.

I'll have to rent the DVD and see how the story held up over time.

It's that kind of day

It is snowing hard again; another day of being stuck indoors when I have so much to do.  Where oh where is spring?
I've seen numerous Facebook pictures of Easter Bunny snowmen that people have created.
I walked/slid 2 blocks with the dog and we were both snow creatures by our return.
We should have 3 nice days coming up starting tomorrow, then snow again by Wednesday.

*************************************************************************
Noon update, 6-8 more inches of snow so far and still snowing.  I am more than tired of this.  Instead of blowing off my long run like I did last weekend, though, when it snowed and I did marathon netflixing and coffee-drinking, I actually did a long run on the Dreadmill this morning.  Unless you've ever done that, without having a TV to entertain you, you cannot feel my pain.  But so there NIKE, I did just do it!

The community newspaper had a half-page ad warning residents about coyotes.  I guess it's not just me and my dog being affected.  Their basic advice was to try to stay away.  But I miss my parks and trails!

Just listen to me whine.....snow, wildlife....you'd think nature was here first.

Blooms surviving the snow

I was right.  There are major broken branches on the tree in front of my house.  I will check out the others when and if the snow melts and I can see them.  Another day of staying home due to snow and ice even though I have things I need to be doing.
The next big snowstorm is scheduled for Friday night into Saturday so only a short break from winter.
