Doug Larson: If all the cars in the United States were placed end to end, it would probably be Labor Day weekend.

     Monday, Sept. 3, is Labor Day.....the symbolic end to summer.  It is also the last day of the year, or was, when it is fashionable to wear white. What an outmoded premise.  I don't own a pair of white shoes. Even athletic shoes are brightly colored these days.
     Take advantage of the holiday.  Bask in the sun. Dawdle.  Be at your ease.  And be sure to wear white....being retro is cool.
