The next subject links increased running injuries with low vitamin D levels. Running injuries are increased over the the winter months with less sun exposure. Running performance is increased over the summer months with more sun exposure. I don't take supplements, but may start taking some vitamin D in the winter months. My chronic running injury, the proximal hamstring tendinopathy, did occur in the winter. Maybe there is something to this.
