I've been reading the term "invisible backpack" frequently this week so I had to google the meaning. Here is the original article by the Associate Director of Wellesley College Center for Research on Women. We all need to read this to examine our own white privilege.

I am finding my tribe, and my tribe is finding its voice. My own "invisible backpack" kept me from realizing the degree of overt racism, sexism, and hatred in this country. The fact that we have a white supremacist in the White House of the USA is the intolerable final straw.
First they came for the Communists
