This might be the time to improve your health yourself since 45 is cutting $1.2 billion from medical research to build a border wall.  Remember ebola, zika, cancer?  You're on your own.
Mexico isn't paying for 45s border wall....cancer patients are.

See, it isn't just me noticing that the 21st century GOP is hateful! The world is noticing and commenting, too.

Here is what Comcast paid Congress to sell your browser history

in case you didn't realize your Congressperson's votes were bought and paid for by industry! This is just Comcast's bribes to the GOP.

And here is a brilliant response....a crowdfunding plan to raise a million dollars to purchase the internet history of leading Republicans and Federal Communications Commission (FCC) members. The first histories the site aims to buy are those of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky), House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wisconsin), Congresswoman Marsha Blackburn (R-Tennessee), and FCC Chairman Ajit Pai.

Had to share this post seen today. 45 is killing us all.

Historians in the near future (because that may be the only future we have) will mark today, March 28, 2017, as the day the extinction of human life on earth began. President Trump has signed executive orders ending all efforts to stop and reverse climate change. He is rescinding President Obama's six climate change orders. He is instructing the Environmental Protection Agency to cease its climate change efforts and do no environmental regulations that get in the way of profits or "jobs." The EPA is to only concern itself with "clean air and clean water" - while Trump orders a massive increase in the use of coal.
This is a defining moment in the history of mankind. By signing these executive orders today, Trump is declaring an act of war on the planet and its inhabitants. The one silver lining here is that Trump can't kill the planet; the planet wants to live and has a long history of wiping out any real or perceived threats. With the actions Trump is taking today, the planet is paying attention -- and the planet will make sure it dispenses with a species hell-bent on destroying Earth.http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/amp/39415631

A sequel to Al Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth" is coming to theaters soon.  It is called, "An Inconvenient Sequel."  You can watch the trailer here:

It truly is time to double down on your efforts to save the planet.  Combine your errands to drive less.  Eat less meat (animal agriculture is the number one cause of greenhouse gas production worse than transportation).  Turn your thermostat down in winter, up in summer.  At least do those things.

45 is a businessman, a poor one, who has shown over and over again in the past 2 months that he doesn't care at all about human beings, unless they are white American billionaires.

Climate change is making us sick

Here is a report released yesterday by the Medical Society Consortium on Climate and Health, which represents over half of US doctors.
It is worth a read. The WHO estimates 240,000 deaths per year will be attributable to climate change by the year 2030....less than 13 years from now.

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie!

Wouldn't it be wonderful if everyone just ran off all their meanness?

Too funny to not share!

"Dear World From America"

    I love this post.
http://johnpavlovitz.com/2017/01/28/dear-world-from-america/

I have been thinking of sending written apologies to Britain and to Angela Merkel on the behalf of Americans.  This embarrassment-in-chief is just too much.
I should add the Canadian Church members who were denied entry to the US to voluntarily help rebuild after hurricane Sandy, the Canadian nurses who can no longer cross the border to work in Michigan despite the nursing shortage,  the 4 international bands denied entry to the US to play at the SXSW festival in Austin, and the beloved 70 year old children's author from Australia who was detained and hassled for hours before being allowed in.

I finally watched the movie, "Selma," about the civil rights era.  It was such an important historical film, although it was difficult to watch all the violence.  The vicious attacks on the peaceful marchers by state troopers in Alabama remind me of the North Dakota vicious attacks on peaceful water protectors this past year, and I think will go down in history the same way.
I also want to watch the movie, "Suffragette,"  but there is just so much bigotry and resentment and real-life violence I can take in a week.  This administration has taken our country backwards by decades, if not centuries.

I attempted to enter the NYC marathon.  There is a lottery just to enter.....98,247 applied, only 16,211 got in.  I was not one of them.....again.  I guess I will just keep trying every year.  It is a bucket list event.  50,000 people will run this year including 9000 charity runners, the 16000 lottery runners, and the rest are speed-demon guaranteed entry people (I will never be speedy).
BTW entry costs $295....times 50,000 people is $14,750,000!  That's a lot of money going to NYC not counting hotel, food, and entertainment monies.

I ran into a friend today and she took our picture.  I'm still out there trying every single day and so is Charleigh-dog.  Yay for nice weather.

Flint, Michigan has declared a state of emergency because there is so much lead in the blood of their children.

and 45 is getting rid of the EPA, getting rid of the clean water act, and allowing more coal mining waste to be dumped into streams.  He is looking out for big business only, not people.

I watched Michael Moore's documentary from 2015, "Where to attack next."  It was excellent.  He traveled to other countries and compared them with America.  Very informative!
