"My microbiome made me do it."
Our microbiome is made of the 100 trillion bacteria and microbes within our bodies. They outnumber our own cells 10 to one, some estimates say 100 to one. Now there is thought that they influence our actions. They are the puppet-masters and we are the puppets. 100 trillion microbes can be very manipulative!
