I got there early. It was a beautiful morning while waiting at the start.

They also had a Donor Garden with photos and comments on signs about donors....too sad, but I made myself read each and every one.

PS The park where the race was run has a big lake, so there are lots of Canada geese. Before the race start, the geese were parading away from the gathering crowds. One crossed right in front of me, looked me directly in the eye, and nodded. I swear it was saying "Namaste." "The spirit in me salutes the spirit in you", too, goose. Right back atcha.
